Dear Class,
A few students asked recently about audio cassettes. I'm sorry I did not have a clear, simple answer for you, but rest assured that we are looking into the matter. In the meantime, I will use this page to refer you to listening activities online. I will look for specific activities related to the class material for each session (see Related Resources below), but if you want to look around for yourself sometime, I get material from Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab and About.com's Listening Activities section.
On the about.com site, you can select a level of difficulty, then see a list of listening activities at that level. Then select activities by reading their names and descriptions. I think the layout of Randall's Listening Lab is pretty straightforward, but please do not hesitate to ask questions that arise about anything related to this course. In
